When you first get a cellphone you never think about rates or anything important like that. You just want a phone, preferably a cool one, that works and has great reception. You then realise how much money you spend with one carrier and that one carrier offers great plans but dont suit your personal needs. I was with one company for 18 months because I signed a contract. Yes the plan was cheap but unfortunately it didn't suit my personal requirements. I travel a lot and I didn't call people locally between certain times. I needed a plan that allowed me to recieve a discount on overseas and interstate calls. I didn't use my phone during on peak hours as most of my clients lived half way across the globe and their time wasnt the same as mine. But now I've got the best cell plan and the best deals and I am very happy.
